Kalyan is 143 km from Pune, about three hours, and it sits before Mumbai rather than inside it — which means you get there without the city traffic that adds an hour to a Mumbai drop.
A one-way drop starts at ₹2,550, with fuel and driver included and no return charge.
Most people booking this route are not going to Kalyan station. They are going somewhere in the wider Kalyan-Dombivli area, and we drop door to door across all of it:
Fares vary a little by drop point since the distance changes. The figure you see before booking is what you pay.
If your destination is Kalyan or anywhere in this belt, book this route directly. It is 13 km shorter than Pune to Mumbai, cheaper, and you never enter Mumbai city traffic.
People often book a Mumbai cab and ask the driver to stop at Kalyan on the way. That costs more and does not save any time. Same applies for Thane.
Pune → Lonavala → Khopoli → Panvel → Kalyan
Shil Phata is the bottleneck on this route, particularly in the evening. Leaving Pune before noon or after 8 PM avoids the worst of it.
Two things people combine with this route:
Titwala Ganesh Temple — about 20 km beyond Kalyan, one of the more visited Ganpati temples in the region and especially busy on Sankashti Chaturthi. If darshan is your reason for travelling, tell us at booking and we will plan the timing around it.
Malshej Ghat — roughly 80 km from Kalyan via Murbad, and spectacular in monsoon. Waterfalls, flamingos at Malshej lake in season, and a ghat road that needs a driver who has done it before.
A one-way drop charges only for the direction you travel — right for relocations and anyone being picked up at the other end.
For a wedding or a family function where you are returning within a day or two, ask for a round trip quote. It costs less than two one-way bookings and the same driver stays with you. See outstation cab booking and one way taxi in Pune.
Landing at Mumbai airport and heading to Kalyan? That is a short run, about 60 km. From Pune airport it is the full three-hour drive with flight tracking so a delayed landing does not cost you the booking. See Pune airport cabs and Mumbai Airport transfers.
Toll and parking are not included. They are charged at actual cost and shown separately on your bill. The expressway toll applies on this route.

An hour or two is usually enough on a weekday. Book a day ahead for weekends, wedding dates and Sankashti, when Titwala traffic builds up.
