Our drivers take the expressway to Panvel, then head towards Thane and cut across on Ghodbunder Road to reach Borivali from the east. You skip Mumbai city entirely. On a weekday evening this saves a serious amount of time.
The Western Express Highway route is shorter on paper and quicker in the early morning when the city is empty. The driver will pick based on the hour you travel — that judgement is worth more on this route than on any other.
